As the days grow cooler and the leaves begin to turn, there’s nothing quite as comforting as gathering together with a good book. Fall invites us to slow down, sip something warm, and enjoy stories that spark imagination and connection. Whether you’re a homeschool family, a classroom teacher, or a parent who loves sharing stories, read-aloud time can become one of the coziest parts of your day.

To help you make the most of this season, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fall read-alouds for children in PreK through 4th grade, along with simple activities that bring the books to life.
