Bloom Together: Budget-Friendly & Educational Mother’s Day Activities, Outings, and Gifts

Updated: Jul 20, 2025

Mother's Day is almost upon us and, as a mother myself, I really cherish this day. It reminds me where my journey in motherhood began and where it's currently residing, with my two wonderful little boys. One stepping out of toddler-hood and the other jumping in head first. For my family, Mother's Day is about celebrating love, connection, and time together as well as celebrating myself and how much I've grown and learned about myself along the way.

We are the type of family that does everything together. We always eat together, read together, play video games together, go on outings together, etc. Doing activities and going out on outings are some of our favorite ways to spend Mother's Day as a family. I wanted to share our favorite spring-inspired, educational and affordable ways to spend the day with mom.
